Wisconsin 2008

(year of Tiff?)

Well, we were back--last week of September; things were different this year.  Andy was a married man.  Had he used up all his luck?

The Monday following the wedding we ventured out on Lake Superior.  Andy and Tiff fished for salmon as husband and wife for the first time.  I believe Tiff had 4 in the boat before anyone else had a bite.  Good catch, Andy.

Teal Lake was up next.  Phil would catch his first muskie, and Wayne, pounding the topwater, would catch his first legal with a lure (sorry Wayne, no pics of your fish--send me some!).  Brad also got in on the action.

Back to Superior.  Phil went on a Pike rush, while I messed around with a little salmon.

Namakogon next.  We actually spent most of the time on Garden Lake.  Wayne picked up a pretty Pike just as I had hooked a little 'ski, right off a drop-off near an island.

For our finale, we visited Pike/Round/Turner lakes.  Had a few strikes, but none in the boat.  We finished off the day at Springstead Lakes.  Didn't see a thing until evening, then had a few good hits.  Maybe next year....
