Winter - Spring 2010
Spring started out with Mommy getting bigger and bigger. I think there's a baby in her tummy! She won't let it come out until he's big enough, though. Luckily, we have lots of nice friends and lots of things to do this spring!
We had a great time getting to know Aunt Jean while she lived in the guest house (we call it Jean's house now). She was just finishing up pharmacy school in Brookings. She and her boyfriend Ryan watched us one day and we pretended we were white water kayakers, just like them!
We had a really fun Easter. We founds eggs with treats all over the yard and in the trees. We also got to paint cookies and eggs pretty colors!
Went to the circus in April with Kyan. The clowns were less scary this time. Of course the highlight was the pony rides (for some reason Daddy choked when he had to cough up 7 dollars per ride).
We do a lot of clowning around, even when we're not at the circus!
In March we met Greg, Julia, and Hanna in Omaha to go to the zoo and children's museum. One of the apes picked his nose just like Nate. One also bumped into the glass really hard and scared Daddy. We also went to the children's museum where we got to ride fire engines and a merry go round (my favorite!).
We had a nice trip to Minneapolis in February to visit Uncle Andy, baby Paige, and Aunt TP in February. Nate and Paige are pretty good pals.
It's May 4th, 2010 at 3:54pm. My baby brother is finally here! His name is Bennett James, but I keep telling Mommy and Daddy that I want to call him Kyan. I think he's going to get used to loud noises right from the start. He was 7 lbs 3 oz and 22" long. We love him very much already. We were also excited to get a diaper cake from Aunt Jean and a delicious strawberry cake from Carissa!!
