Winter-Spring 2009
If you can't tell, we love our animals! We go to the zoo as often as we can (and sometimes Daddy says our house IS a zoo!)

We had a fun visit to the East Coast to visit Uncle Wayne and Aunt Michelene and cousin Elisha; Uncle John, Aunt Kate, and baby Will; Grandma Ann and Grandpa Pete; Wayne and Kendra; Uncle Scott (butthead) and Aunt Chelsea; Cousin Anne, and Cousin Rebecca, Tardo, and Angus (who has the exact same birth date as my little Nate!). We started in Columbia where Nate and Hannah got baptized together. We visited a lot of cities--Granville, OH; Rochester, NY; Boston, MA; New York, NY; and Marlborough, CT. We rode the train, subway, and the car--A LOT.

By the time we got home, things were starting to finally get warm!

We caught a lot of catfish this spring!

We had a lot of visitors this spring too.
Our spring did have a lot of happy times too. We had kittens, tractor rides, parties, and a new puppy. I named him Kermit. Mommy and Daddy keep trying to call him "Comet," but I correct them every time. Did I mention we had kittens too? We also had a few more additions to our growing extended family--Will Hesla was born February 9th, Claire Loofbourrow was born February 13th, Ava Fullenkamp was born March 20th, and Paige Drymalski was born April 22nd. Mandi's cousin Jerad also got married in June (Daddy says I'm not allowed to even date until I'm 30).
One of our best friends died unexpectedly. Ben was Daddy's best friend and everyone liked him. Mommy says the last time she saw him he was returning my little frog to me after I left it at his house accidentally. He didn't want me to miss it. Lots of people came to see him from all over the country. We miss him every day.
