April and May 2007
It just turned June (and I turned 10 months old) and Daddy is finally getting his act together and getting some new pictures of me on the site!
I've had a lot of fun these last few months and learned a lot.
I learned that there's no football in the spring; so I cheer for my other favorite teams.
Aunt Sadie even took me to my first Cardinal's game!
My friend Bennett is growing up too--he used to cry every time I grabbed his head, but I think he's starting to like me!
I love stuffed animals, so you can imagine how delighted I was to get an Easter chick from Unc, Sue, Luke, and Noah!
I've also been crawling all over the place, pulling to stand, cruising, and even standing by myself sometimes. And at Aunt Kate's last night I took my first step without holding on to anything!
I've even gotten pretty quick at crawling up the stairs (Mommy and Daddy put a gate up though, and I can't find the key!)
I really love eating, and bananas and cheerios are my favorite finger foods. Grandma Teri came to visit and I made all kinds of funny faces for her! Sometimes Mommy and Daddy call me their vampire baby.
It's been really busy around here getting ready to move to South Dakota. I helped Daddy do some plumbing the other day. Mommy and Daddy say my plumbing leaks too...
...and often it leaks onto Aunt Sadie.
I made my first trip to Kansas City with Aunt Nan and Uncle Seth. Aunt Nan taught me how to power-shop!
I'm working on clapping and standing at the same time. It's hard!
Mommy says I'll be the dentist's and hair dresser's worst nightmare...now why would she say that?
I woke up one morning to straight bangs! I thought it was cute.
And I think I have pretty good fashion-sense too.
And remember how I said I liked eating??
Well, I'm fond of napping too....
Oh, and in case you haven't heard...I'm going to be a big sister!
