Dam Challenge
On the weekend of October 4th, Adrian, Wendi,
Mandi, Tracy, and I went to La Crosse to visit Phil, Kari, Jodi, and Dale and
compete in the Dam Challenge triathlon. The Mandi and I made up Team
Intentional Overdose, and Phil, Tracy, Adrian, and Dale made up Team 4 Guys and
a Cooler. After a drawing of names, Tracy was to bike, Dale to run, and
Adrian and Phil to canoe.
We arrived at La Farge with minutes to spare
before final check-in. Tracy, after seeing the hill he would have to bike
up, began to whimper a little.

We finished, but not without painful sacrifice. |
